True expertise takes decades to mature. Founder Matthew Dockery grew up in the trades, honing essential construction skills as a teenager alongside seasoned family mentors. As a third-generation roofer, he established Gaston Roofing in 1990 to bring uncompromising structural quality to local neighborhoods. Today, that foundational legacy has expanded into a powerhouse of fourth-generation construction knowledge. We operate with a deep understanding of standard regional building techniques, ensuring every roof, gutter, siding, door, and window installation benefits from an elite pedigree of proven hands-on experience.

What to Expect
For the past 30+ years, we've built a reputation of honesty, trust, and transparency. Here's what you get when you partner with us on a project:
CONTACT
We will work with you to schedule an appointment, either through call or text.
INSPECTION
We will conduct a thorough inspection of your residential or commercial property at no cost to you.
QUOTE
Based on our findings, we create a quote with our recommendations and answer any questions or concerns you may have. We can go over payment and financing options.
WORK
Once your quote is approved, we can pick colors and schedule a day that works best for you. Usually, the day before your start date, we have materials delivered. The crew will arrive first thing in the morning and get started on the removal of your old roof. Extra care is taken to not damage your landscaping.
CLEANUP
Once the work is complete, our crews will clean up and haul away all debris. After they are done, we come out for a final inspection of the grounds and use a magnet sweep again to ensure we get your yard as clean as possible. Once all the work is completed our project manager will inspect the work and send over a final invoice. Invoices are due within 7 days unless prior arrangements have been made.

I want to thank Gaston Roofing for an outstanding job on my new gutters and fascia repair. They were always on time for every appointment. Always straight forward with answers to my questions. The price they gave me was considerably lower than any other estimate I had received form other companies. The gutters are high quality and we never have to worry about leaves and having someone clean gutters again!

We had an outstanding experience with Gaston Roofing. Jose, our project manager, was incredible—clear communication, organized, and proactive from start to finish. He walked us through every stage of the process so we always knew what to expect.
The crew was professional, efficient, and impressively completed the entire job in just one day without cutting corners. The quality of the work and the cleanup afterward were top-notch. (Not a single nail found on the ground afterwards!!)

I have been working with Jose from Gaston Roofing on future renovation plans, and he has been responsive, helpful, and incredibly patient as we discussed the specifics of the work that needs to be done. Highly recommend this company. I worked with Brandon and Charleston. We agreed on a fair price. Both very professional, knew their stuff and kept their promises. Roof came out beautiful and crew worked from sunrise to sunset and got the job completed in 2 days. Off with the old on with the new. Excellent clean up. I’d use them again.

Gaston roofing was the best choice I could’ve made when considering a huge investment like a roof. It doesn’t need replacing very often and when it does, you should choose the best. Jose was professional and proactive and took care of us every step of the way. He made sure all of our questions were answered and gave us thorough details for the process and timelines. Brandon was professional thru the whole process from going over what options there was available, ordering materials and scheduling the date when the work would get done. The crew showed up on time, they were polite and professional. The cleanup was awesome. Brandon came by to make sure I was happy with everything and if I had any concerns. They are an awesome company to work with. They will be installing doors next.

Stellar service, wonderful workmanship we are extremely happy, Brandon Melton is a joy to work with, his communication was fantastic quick to answer all questions, we highly recommend Gaston Roof and Brandon. Work started as promised, workmanship is top notch, cleanup after the roof was installed was perfect, gutters look great and we got the gutter guards, so glad we did. My house was in need of a roof replacement. Gaston Roofing was recommended by a neighbor who had used them. Gave them a call for a free estimate and Brandon was at our house the next day and in a few hours I had a detailed estimate. They showed up the next week and by the end of the day I had my new roof. Their work was excellent and everything was handled just as promised. I love how much better my house looks. I highly recommend Gaston Roofing. They also contracted for my new gutters.

Awesome job, the crew was very polite and thoughtful. They came in informed of everything they were doing from delivering and placing materials needed for project to bringing in and removal the dumpster needed for debris. Whenever I or family had to leave they made sure we had a clear path to and from our vehicle. Brandon Melton was awesome. Initial visit, He came out for inspection of my roof to give a quote for services. He thoroughly explained the process of services need, full roof replacement. He took time listen to my horror stories I had then ensured, if I choose to go with Gaston Roofing, there would be no hidden charges and their work was guaranteed. GR was patient with me in recieving payment, I was working with my insurance of which sent payment in two installments. I worked direct with Brandon, notified him when I had received payments, he made it convenient for me each time by coming to my home to receive payments. They had several selection of shingles for me to choose from and they worked expeditiously and after job was completed they cleaned up made sure all debris and nails were removed. Right after we had a wind storm that blew some nails from gutters, I called that same day they sent someone out to do a magnetic sweep again. My roof looks fantastic, I am well pleased with their work. I would highly recommend them to the fullest.

Gaston Roofing did a great job replacing my roof! Matthew did a great job explaining the process, materials, and scheduling the appointment. The crew arrived on time and worked until dusk. They did an awesome job, were very respectful, courteous and cleaned multiple times to be sure the surroundings were free of nails.
